Drone Photogrammetry
& 3D Mapping
Photogrammetry turns hundreds of overlapping aerial photographs into accurate, measurable 3D data. Using RTK-enabled drones and ground control points, we create survey-grade maps and models for construction progress tracking, volume calculations, and site analysis.
How Drone Photogrammetry Works
Photogrammetry uses overlapping aerial photographs taken by a drone to produce accurate 2D maps and 3D models of the ground or structures below. Each image is captured with precise GPS data, and specialist software analyses the angles and overlap between the photos to recreate a true-to-scale digital model of the area.
This technique allows you to measure distance, area, height, and volume directly from the imagery, effectively turning drone photos into survey-grade data.

Why Choose Drone Photogrammetry?
ACCURACY
Using RTK/PPK drones and ground control points, data can be accurate to within a few centimetres.
SPEED
Large areas can be captured in minutes and processed into usable data within 24 to 48 hours.
SAFETY
Surveys can be completed without people entering hazardous areas or working at height.
COST-EFFECTIVE
Reduces the need for manual surveys and repeat site visits.
Applications & Industries
Construction progress tracking and as-built verification
Quarry stockpile volume calculations
Cut and fill analysis for earthworks
Infrastructure condition assessment
Land development and feasibility studies
Environmental monitoring and change detection
Our Photogrammetry Process
PLANNING
We assess your site, define the area to be mapped, and plan the flight path for optimal coverage.
FLIGHT & DATA CAPTURE
Our CAA-certified pilots deploy RTK-enabled drones to capture hundreds of overlapping images.
PROCESSING
Images are processed using industry-leading software (Pix4D, Agisoft) to generate orthomosaics, point clouds, and 3D models.
DELIVERY
You receive all deliverables in your preferred format, typically within 24 to 48 hours, along with an accuracy report.
